S355J2H EN 10210 Tube is made up of a 0.22% carbon included low carbon steel that is ductile, hard, strong and corrosion resistant. The material has silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur in the composition. The combination of elements in the EN 10210 S355J2H Material provides it with 355MPa minimum yield strength and 630MPa minimum tensile strength. ASTM A335 P9 Seamless Pipe is one of the chromium molybdenum alloy pipes. This kind of material is used for high temperature and pressure applications. The thermal expansion rate of this material is considerably less so that it does not lose its form or shape under high temperatures. ASME SA 335 Grade P9 Alloy Steel Pipes are mostly used in the power generation industries and in petrochemical industries. The ASTM A335 P9 Pipe standards and schedules differ according to the need of the application. There is a 9% chromium and 1% molybdenum in the A335 P9 Chrome Pipe composition. The P9 steel pipe material also contains manganese, silicon, carbon and phosphorus in its composition. The addition of these materials makes the material stronger with high yield strength and tensile strength. The oxidation reduction is highly added due to the high chromium content.
These pipes are therefore highly resistant in high temperature and corrosive environments. The astm a335 gr P9 seamless pipe has less absolute roughness and is therefore very accurate in dimensions. The standard covers pipe sizes in NPS (National Standard Straight) from 10.3mm DN6 – 1219mm DN1200 (1/8 inch to 48 inch), complied with ASME B 36.10M. But other sizes out of this B36.10 also could apply the A106 standard.
Raw materials

The tensile strength and yield strength for the A333 gr b pipe is variable among its grades. For example, the tensile strength is 380 MPa and yield strength is 205 MPa for grade 5. The tensile strength is 450 MPa and yield strength is 240 MPa for grade 3. While the tensile strength is 415 MPa and yield strength is 240 MPa for ASTM A333 grade 1 pipe schedule. The pipes made from SA333 gr 5 material are meant for low temperature applications. The A333 grade 1 pipe is available in either welded, ERW, CDW, fabricated or seamless type. While producing welded pipes, it is not necessary to add filler metals during the operation. These carbon steel A333 grade 1 pipes are surface treated. The pipe ends of the A333 Gr 1 seamless pipe could be bevelled, plain ended or threaded, depending on the requirement of the buyer.
Some of the surface treatments include a coating or finishing by Oil-dip, Phosphating, Varnish, Passivation or Shot Blasting. They could also be anodized or finished polish. The treatment gives the surface of the A333 gr 1 smls pipe a smooth and flawless appearance. ASTM A333 grade 6 pipe can be conventionally formed, cold-worked and welded. The A333 grade 1 pipe can be hot worked, but they can’t be hot worked below 1500 degrees F. The ASTM A333 grade 1 pipe equivalent pipe is used in the transportation of Chemical, Water and Gas. ASTM A106 is the standard specification for seamless carbon steel pipe applied for high temperature services.
Dimensions Schedule Range
The standard covers pipe sizes in NPS (National Standard Straight) from 10.3mm DN6 – 1219mm DN1200 (1/8 inch to 48 inch), complied with ASME B 36.10M. But other sizes out of this B36.10 also could apply the A106 standard.
